Melton Consortium Members

Melton Consortium – A consortium of partner agencies enhances the Melton School. Current members of these organizations may participate in classes at a reduced tuition rate.

This Consortium model unifies the community around the shared goal of providing quality Jewish adult learning. Both human and material resources are shared to offer the highest standards of teaching, the best settings for learning and a curriculum designed especially for the adult learner. Consortium members send a representative to our advisory board that meets several times a year to evaluate and be part of the Melton vision. The BJE Melton School of Greater Chicago brings the congregation high visibility. The congregation will benefit from being part of this community school where students from all denominations will come together to learn and increase synagogue participation. Each Consortium partner pays $2,000 to the BJE to help support the Melton School. In order to expand our consortium sites, we are offering institutions with less than 300 families the opportunity to join for one-half the price – $1000.

Melton students who are affiliated with a consortium site, pay a reduced tuition.
